Application:
The differences between cold rolled sheet and stainless steel are mainly reflected in three aspects, namely, the use, characteristics, raw materials and so on.
1.Main uses of cold rolled sheet: it is mainly used in automobile manufacturing, electrical products, etc.
2.Main uses of stainless steel: most stainless steel products need raw materials with good welding performance, such as class II tableware, thermos cups, steel pipes, water heaters, drinking fountains, etc.
1.Characteristics of cold rolled sheet: because it has not been annealed, its hardness is very high (HRB is greater than 90), and its machinability is extremely poor. It can only carry out simple directional bending less than 90 degrees (perpendicular to the coiling direction).
2.Characteristics of stainless steel: weldability, corrosion resistance, polishing performance and heat resistance.
1.Raw material of cold rolled sheet: cold rolled sheet is a product made of hot rolled coil and rolled under recrystallization temperature at room temperature.
2.Raw materials of stainless steel: all contain 17 ~ 22% chromium, and the better steel also contains nickel.
Like other types of stainless steel plates, stainless steel coils have strong corrosion resistance and rust resistance. Their excellent quality makes them important industrial raw materials and building materials.
1.Automobile industry
Stainless steel coil not only has strong corrosion resistance, but also has light self weight. Therefore, it is widely used in automobile manufacturing. For example, the car shell requires a large number of stainless steel coil plates. According to statistics, a car needs about 10-30 kilograms of stainless steel coils, while American cars need 40 kilograms of stainless steel coils. At present, some international brands of cars have begun to use stainless steel coil as the structural material of cars, which can not only greatly reduce the self weight of cars, but also greatly extend the service life of cars. In addition, it is more and more widely used in buses, high-speed railways and subways.
2.Water storage and transportation industry
Water is easily polluted during storage and transportation, so the storage and transportation equipment of materials is very important. Water storage and transportation equipment based on stainless steel coil is recognized as a hygienic and efficient equipment in the current water industry. At present, the health and safety requirements for the storage and transportation of production and domestic water are becoming higher and higher, and the storage and transportation equipment of traditional materials can no longer meet our needs. Therefore, stainless steel coil will become an important raw material for future production, storage and transportation equipment.
3.Construction industry
In fact, stainless steel coiled materials were first used in the construction field and are important building materials or raw materials for the production of building materials in the construction industry. More and more stainless steel coiled materials are used as decorative materials in the decoration industry. Stainless steel coiled materials with various appearances can not only be used as the outsourcing of buildings, but also be made into various decorative panels.
In addition to the above two main areas, stainless steel coils are also used in the home appliance manufacturing industry. Stainless steel coils are used to produce many parts of household appliances, such as televisions, washing machines and refrigerators. As the household appliance industry has not maintained vigorous development, the application potential of stainless steel coil in this field has great room for expansion.
