Different countries have different regulations on the thickness limit of different kinds of foil. For example, China stipulates that the maximum thickness of aluminum foil is 0.20mm, and the maximum thickness of copper nickel lead zinc steel and other foils is 0.05mm; The maximum thickness of aluminum foil is 0.051mm (0.002 ") in the United States, and the maximum thickness of steel and precision alloy foil is 0.127mm (0.005"). Another index to evaluate the thickness of foil is the weight per unit area, such as g/m or oz/fi. The larger the value, the greater the thickness. The width of the foil is cut according to the user's requirements. However, the wider the manufacturing width, the higher the productivity. The length of the roll body determines the maximum width of the rolled foil. The wider, thinner and harder the rolled piece is, the harder it is to roll. The maximum width of rolled aluminum foil is about 2m. The width of steel, titanium and rare metal foils is narrow. The width of electrolytic copper foil and evaporated aluminum foil can reach 2m.
